Made for the meals nobody posts about.
The rushed breakfasts, the food on the floor, the cup that gets dropped twice before 8am and the quiet little wins when your child decides to try one more bite. PureSteel Co was created for real family life—not the perfectly styled version of it.
It started at the highchair.
Like many parents, we began solids with a drawer full of good intentions. We bought the colourful plates, the matching bowls and the cups that promised not to leak. Some looked beautiful at first. Then real life happened.
Tomato sauce left its mark. Strong foods seemed to linger. Surfaces became worn, lids disappeared and suction bases did not always survive the determination of a curious toddler. We were constantly washing, replacing and wondering why something used several times every day felt so disposable.
And in the middle of the mess, there was already enough to think about: Is the food cut safely? Have they eaten enough? Are they learning to feed themselves? Will any of this end up in their mouth rather than on the floor?
We started looking more closely at the material touching the food. Stainless steel made sense to us. It is durable, non-porous, easy to clean and naturally resistant to staining and odour retention. It has been trusted in kitchens for generations, yet many baby feeding products still placed it behind a layer of plastic or replaced it entirely with materials that did not age the way we wanted.
The idea behind PureSteel Co became simple: use stainless steel where food sits, and use high-quality food-grade silicone where softness, grip and suction genuinely help. No unnecessary complexity. No choosing between practical and beautiful. Just thoughtful pieces designed to be reached for every day.
So we created the set we kept searching for.
